CMI Tele-Coffee Program 13 January @ 9 ET – Presented by MLAUS Int’l Orgs Conventions and Standards & Young Lawyers

Good Morning Members of the IOCS Committee, and Happy New Year.

We are following up on President Hurley’s 12/24/24 email with a reminder for the upcoming Tele-Coffee program next Monday, 13 January at 9 AM ET.  The IOCS and YLC committees will be jointly presenting a program to inform our memberships about the ongoing historic and ongoing relationship between the MLAUS and the Comité Maritime International (CMI).

This virtual conversation with Ann Fenech, the first female President of the CMI, will explain the work of the CMI, how MLA members can get involved, and the current work of MLA members who contribute to CMI projects. This program will also feature highlights of ongoing MLAUS/CMI efforts on current projects, and the work of several young lawyers who are currently contributing to CMI projects.  Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about the CMI and how our MLAUS members can continue the century-long joint work of the CMI and MLAUS in fostering uniformity and progressing the state of maritime law around the globe.
