MLAUS Salvage Committee Spring Meeting – Agenda for 01 May 2025

Greetings –

We invite you to join us at the MLAUS Salvage Committee meeting on Thursday, May 1st, from 3:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at Clyde & Co, The Chrysler Building, 16th Floor, 405 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY in the Large Conference Room.

This meeting will be held in a hybrid format, with both in-person and virtual attendance options. Guest Speakers will join us in person, and virtual attendance details will be provided separately in advance of the meeting.

We are pleased to welcome two guest speakers:

• CDR Brandon Aten, Response Department Head, U.S. Coast Guard Sector New York, who will provide insights into current Coast Guard response operations in the Sector New York area of responsibility.

• Stinne Taiger Ivø, Deputy Secretary General & Director of Contracts, BIMCO, who will offer remarks on towage and wreck removal contracts and discuss emerging trends and developments in the salvage industry.

The Salvage Committee is also seeking a new Vice Chair. Members interested in serving in this leadership role are encouraged to volunteer or reach out with questions.
