It is with great sadness that the Association announces the passing of Joy Rue, late wife of Past President Tom Rue. Through Tom’s involvement in the MLA, Joy formed lasting friendships with many of the wives of the members of the Association. She regularly attended the Spring meeting in New York and the many Fall meetings throughout the United States, and she valued the close circle of friends she built during those years. Joy will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held in Mobile, Alabama at 2:00 p.m. on March 16, 2025, at the Government Street Presbyterian Church.
