Dear Marine Torts & Casualties Committee Members:

The final, revised agenda for our Fall 2022 meeting, to occur tomorrow afternoon, Thursday, 10-27-2022 at 1500 hrs PT (thus 1800 hrs EST), is attached.  We are joining forces with the Gov’t Counsel, Marine Pollution & Maritime Crimes, and Regulation of Vessel Ops Committees and will all be focusing our brief, one-hour meeting on the D/V CONCEPTION casualty.  All 33 passengers and one member of the crew perished in the fire aboard this dive excursion vessel in the early morning hours of September 2, 2019, as it burned to the waterline just offshore Santa Cruz Island, 176 miles northwest of where I am sitting as I type this note on Coronado Island, CA.
