Linked to this e-mail is the latest edition of our committee newsletter, Bitter End Bulletin, edited and produced by our committee Secretary, Adam Deitz.  It includes articles by Adam, Gregory Burts of Phelps Dunbar (who is our committee’s YLC Liaison), and Melanie Huffines and Maxwell Shafer, both of Cranfill Sumner.  Thank you so much, Adam, Greg, Melanie, and Max for taking the time from your busy schedules to put this latest action-packed edition together. If you or any lawyers in your organization have an article idea for the next issue, please reach out to Adam ([email protected]).  He’s always looking for contributions and this is a great way to get your name out there and work with your fellow committee members.  I’ve always found when I have to write an article about a new court decision or a new law or regulation, it forces me to really focus and therefore learn a lot in the process.

I hope to see some of you in San Francisco next week including at our joint committee meeting at 0845 PST on Thursday, October 19, 2023, aboard the SS JEREMIAH O’BRIEN at Pier 35.
