Stevedores Committee – April 23, 2020 Agenda

Dear Committee Members-

Attached please find the Agenda for the Spring 2020 Meeting of the Stevedores, Marine Terminals, and Vessel Services Committee.  The Meeting will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2020, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. EDT, and will be conducted as a Zoom Meeting.

As you will note in the Agenda, please send me an email by Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. EDT to inform me whether you intend to join the April 23 Committee Meeting.  Based on that information, I will circulate an invite with the Zoom Meeting link to everyone who responds.

In addition, we are targeting representatives of a select number of Port Cities (i.e., New York, Norfolk, New Orleans, and L.A./Long Beach) about providing comments under the “Roundtable” Discussion pertaining to the Status of Marine Terminal Operations and Their Related COVID-19 Response/Protocols.  HOWEVER, if you work in another port city and would like to share what your port community and marine terminals may be doing that may be different than (or in addition to) the foregoing Ports, please feel free to let me know ahead of time so that I can be sure to recognize you during the Zoom video conference call.

Finally, as you will also note in the attached Agenda, we wanted to incorporate a fun and casual ending to the meeting by enjoying a virtual Happy Hour with our Stevedores Committee colleagues.  [One important clarification in this regard, though….just because the virtual Happy Hour is scheduled for after the adjournment of the Committee Meeting, this does not preclude anyone from enjoying a cocktail DURING the Committee Meeting.  That may go without say, but I just want to be safe].
