York Antwerp Rules – IWG Istanbul report and CMI Guidelines

Report on CMI International Sub Committee on General Average meeting held on June 6th and 7th 2015. This work is in preparation of a new set of York Antwerp Rules to be submitted to the CMI General Assembly in May 2016 during its joint meeting in New York with the MLA.

In tandem with the revision of YAR, the ISC is working on Guidelines, to reflect existing best practice in the adjustment of general average and to provide a source of information and guidance for commercial interests. A draft of these is also provided.
