Proposed Amendments to 46 CFR Part 67

The final report of the Citizenship Task Force recommending amendments to the Coast Guard’s Part 67 rules regarding the citizenship of certain corporate entities and the publication of Coast Guard determinations on vessel documentation and citizenship issues.  These proposals are substantially the same as those presented to the Marine Financing Committee in the Task Force’s “interim report” and posted to the Committee’s section of the MLA website in April 2015.  Copies of the interim report were also provided to the Fisheries Committee at its spring 2015 meeting.

We need a vote on this by Tuesday March 1 in order for it to be taken up by the Board.

Using the voting buttons, please indicate whether you are “for” or “against” the adoption of the final report of the Citizenship Task Force recommending amendments to the Coast Guard’s Part 67 rules regarding the citizenship of certain corporate entities and the publication of Coast Guard determinations on vessel documentation and citizenship issues.

You may also “abstain” from voting.
